Miami Broward Carnival Launch Postponed Due To Isaac, New Date October 7, 2012

WHAT: Due to the inclement weather from Tropical Storm Isaac set to arrive in South Florida this weekend, the Miami Broward One Carnival Host Committee has decided to postpone the Miami Broward Carnival Launch at Hialeah Park. The new date set for September 8th will celebrate over twenty-five mas bands and will include costumes, the area's top DJ’s and Steel Band music. Bandleaders will be on site giving patrons another opportunity to participate in the coveted Mas before the highly anticipated Carnival on Sunday October 7th at Sunlife Stadium.


 


This year’s carnival week is expected to attract a cumulative total of over two hundred thousand in attendance at Carnival and the various events. Join us on Sunday, September 8th at Hialeah Park for a taste of all that Miami Broward Carnival has to offer. WHO: Over twenty-five mas bands will be in attendance along with music by the Pantastic Steel Orchestra, Silver Stars USA and over ten top DJ’s.
