The marriage must be performed before 8:00 PM and two witnesses must be present at the ceremony and for the signing of the marriage certificate.

Our Suggestion
Call the hotel or villa where you will be staying and have them make the arrangements. Yes, we know if you do it yourself you will save some money but on the other hand you may have a nervous breakdown dealing with the process. Keep in mind that these establishment have marriage packages which includes applying and obtaining your marriage license, performance of the ceremony and transportation. They know the process and how to get things done quickly. If you choose this route you will be asked to furnish the required documents via mail. We suggest that you

  • Send notified copies of these documents.
  • Send it express mail.
Additional information like the occupation of the Bride, Groom and their fathers may be requested by the party making the arrangements. Please be aware their may also be a required deposit to get the ball rolling. Good luck and have a happy honeymoon in Jamaica.
