I just came back from vacation to Jamaica. My boyfriend, my sister, her husband and I, all went together.

We stayed at Sandals Negril, and that hotel was spectacular. We had a wonderful view that we couldn't get enough of. We liked it so much that half the time we didn't want to leave the room.

Anyway, the first day we got there we all went and had some jerk chicken and pork. My boyfriend is American, and although he has had jerk food before, we thought he would enjoy it even more if he had the authentic stuff. He licked all his ten fingers, and then asked for more. The rest of us ate until we couldn't move,I tell you, that food was so good.

Our days were spent going to Dunns River Falls, San San Beach, Ocho Rios, Montego Bay, and a bunch of other places. We even went into the city of Kingston and visited where my sister and I used to live. It looked so different, it was unbelievable.

My brother-in-law is also Jamaican and we went to Independence City where he grew up. At night, we went to the nightclubs and danced and drank the night away. Sometimes we took leisurely strolls along the beach or sat by the pool at the hotel.

We did so much in the two and half weeks we were there, I can't even begin to tell you how much. We all had a fabulous time and we are certainly going back next year. I wish I could go back tomorrow.
