Jamaica Travel Advice Q & A: Does Jamaican immigration require that I have a return ticket out of Jamaica?
Published May 7, 2013We asked our facebook fans to help answer a question submitted to us by email: I am flying into Montego Bay from New York. I am traveling on a French passport. I wanted to book a one way as I am not sure if I will be there 2 weeks or a month. Does Jamaican immigration require that I have a return ticket out of Jamaica?
RESPONSES:
D. Farina - Oh yes, i am quite sure yuh do, cause mi as a German needed oneK.
S. Jaja - immigration wants you to have a return ticket (to somewhere) - but i bet they would sell you one for a little less than a million dollars - after they take you to the back room :-)
V. Will - Just buy an open return ticket
I.Verweij - If it's possible book an open return ticket, I've always needed to have a return ticket that I could show them.
T. LeClair - You must have either a return ticket or a ticket to another destination.
