Thanks Tropi. I will check these out. Any small-scale places that are kid friendly? like a cottage kind set up?

I stayed at Cannon Cottage in January 2013. Because there is construction next door, the Jamaican owner gave us a discount. The staff are absolutely wonderful to children and they prefer Jamaicans and the cook, Miss Lorna, is an amazing cook ... even vegan and vegetarian!

Check Tripadvisor....based on reviews, if you want quiet make sure they don't give you a villa near the public beach.
